Alta Partners was founded in 2000 by Principals
Dan Kasinec and Stan Kasmarcak. Previously, Dan and Stan served
as the Chief Operating Officer and the Director of Finance for
the Fairview Medical Group (a subsidiary of the Cleveland Clinic
Health System consisting of 120 physicians). Initially,
the majority of the current Alta Partners staff were also part
of FMG, serving as the billing and practice management resource.
During that time we compiled some impressive statistics and
twice were benchmarked against the best in the industry and
against local competition by outside consultants (Ernst & Young
and DMI). Both times, our performance was commended for
effective billing performance. Comments from the DMI Analysis: Full Service Billing and Accounts Receivable Management Rating: "Superior Service, Good Performance" Business Expertise and Performance Reporting Rating: "Superior; High Quality Reporting" In 2010, Alta Partners will be celebrating our ten year anniversary and has grown to service over 200 providers.
