Lynn began her career in healthcare, as a part
time medical receptionist in a family practice in Oberlin.
Over the years, Lynn continued to advance in position
and experience by performing such roles as medical
assistant, billing and coding, office coordinator and
physician practice manager.
Before joining Alta Partners, Lynn, was responsible
for 24 medical providers in 11 physician practices with
Community Health Partners in Lorain.
Lynn’s transition from medical
receptionist to physician practice manager, combined with
her 15 years of experience with physicians, practice
professionals and two EHR implementation projects gives her
a unique insight into the needs and challenges facing
today’s physicians and the future for medical practices.
As part of her practice management experience, Lynn
has become well versed in helping practices improve
physician and staff productivity, patient scheduling, and
patient flow activities. As mentioned above, Lynn has had the
opportunity to roll out not one, but two different EHR
software platforms over the past four years (Next Gen and
EPIC) for physician practices she has managed.
